Ko Samui, or Samui for short, is Thailand’s second largest island. It’s located off the southeastern coast of the nation and about a 3 hour ferry from the mainland. Samui is known for its spectacular beaches, diving and hip bars located on the shore.

Ko Samui is cool if you’re looking to relax, period. If you want to party, take the next ferry out to Ko Pha Ngan and join the other crazy lunatics.
Ko Pha Ngan is a small island located off the country’s southeastern coast in the Gulf of Thailand. Ko Pha Ngan is world famous for one reason-Full Moon Parties.
Bangkok (pop. 10 million) is Thailand’s largest city and capital. In Thai, the city’s name is Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, meaning the City of Angels. Bangkok lies on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and is famous for Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and a thriving night life.
