Top Sex Tourism Destinations

Many people travel the world for bird watching, sight seeing, sports and other activities. However, in the past decade or so, the number of travelers going abroad for sex has drastically increased. According to the World Tourism Agency of the United Nations, sex tourism is defined as "trips organized within the tourism sector, or from outside this sector but using its structures and networks, with the primary purpose of effecting a commercial sexual relationship by the tourist with residents of that destination." With the rise of sex tourism booming, many countries are quickly finding themselves in the middle of it all as the most popular "sexpat" destinations on the planet. Although actual statistics are hard to come by (no pun intended), here is a list of the perceived  most popular destination for sex tourists:

Telomeres- Fact or Fiction?

Can being poor speed aging? How about eating poorly? A new Scottish study says yes to both questions, and the answer lies in a person's telomeres. Which begs the question - what are telomeres? They are the cap-like molecular structures on the tips of the chromosomes that scientists say are closely linked to biological age."We know that people who are born with shorter telomeres than normal also have a shorter lifespan," Dr. Maria Blasco of the Spanish National Cancer Research Center in Madrid said. She created a $700 test that supposedly predicts aging by measuring telomeres.

The World's Funniest Country

The Social Networking site Badoo conducted a survey of 30,000 people from 15 nations concerning the world’s funniest countries. Now the results are in (drum roll). Taking home the gold is the United States of America. Many people credit US humor to movies, television programs and comedians like South Park, Dave Chappelle , the Hangover, the Simpsons, Chris Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Will Ferrell and Family Guy. With international renowned names like these, it's no wonder the US ranked #1.

Schools have pulled raw vegetables from menus, piles of cucumbers sit untouched on shop shelves and farmers say they are losing millions.  As scientists scramble to find the source of the E. coli outbreak linked to raw vegetables that has killed 18 in Europe and sickened nearly 2000, consumers are swearing off lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes just in case.
