It's apparent (if it wasn't already before) that 2011 just isn't shaping up for Japan. Like a monstrous earthquake/devastating tsunami, nuclear power plant disaster, severe economic recession and enough political strife to force former Prime Minister Naoto Kan to step down wasn't enough problems for the East Asian islanders; a powerful typhoon just pegged the nation adding to the "oh shit" list.
